I have sooooooo many image files lurking in my hard drives, it's easy to overlook a few. I can't wait until May arrives and I can get on with adding more photos to this blog.......

A few files from my other blog

I thought it was best to take some images that appear in my other blog and post them, here. Looking back over the body of work I have created since getting into Nikon's DSLR system, I am quite proud of what I have been able to produce. It's also evident that Nikon's Creative Lighting System (CLS) has made my photography much better, there's no need to be afraid to use flash to help improve a photo.

Dedicated blog to the good people of Ross Farm

I seem to visit the Farm probably once a month, and, despite whatever is going on, I seem to always bring back some good images. I decided that it was time for me to create a blog specifically for these photographs, today would be the commencement of that endeavour.

Yesterday was sort of a clean-up/getting ready for spring day, and there were no formal demonstrations. Fresh paint adorned the floors in the buildings with that familiar smell of newness.

I recently added a second SB-800 to my family of equipment and I needed a good test to make sure it was working well. It seems the mint second-hand flash unit works perfectly. Bounce lighting makes a big difference for interior work, as long as the ceiling isn't too high.

Fill-flash in typical outdoor shots can be greatly enhance what would be dull images with that little spark..........
